Check the fit

Choose it by the stranded gauge printed on your wire. Klein documents no solid-wire range for the 11053, so compare a dual-scale model for mixed conductors.

When to choose it

The 11053 focuses on larger stranded copper, a range many general-purpose strippers only partly cover. The serrated nose can shape wire and the two screw-shear openings handle common machine screw sizes without requiring a separate tool.
